Holiday Programmes
The longitudinal programme of 1:1 tutoring will not be appropriate for every pupil or meet the needs of every family. With this in mind Alcott Manor Holiday Programmes, which run at various times of the year coinciding with school holidays in England, will be open to more children to attend.
Each course is bespoke designed to meet the needs of the children attending and usually involves between three and four children of a similar age. These residential courses last between 3 and 5 days and are based in a city of culture: for example, in August 2021 Alcott Manor was in Oxford, and the course participants attended a Baroque music concert in a college chapel, an outdoor production of a Shakespeare play (which they had studied), had a private tour of Christ Church (Mr Osiatynski's college), and visited several museums, as well as four hours per day of focused study. The children also went punting on the River Cherwell, a very 'Oxford' thing to do!

Alcott Manor was in Coventry, the 2021 UK City of Culture, in October 2021, for a five night residential programme (24th to 29th). This course included visits to museums and Kenilworth Castle, an orchestral concert at Symphony Hall Birmingham and, for fun, a visit to The Wave (an indoor water park) and, to finish the week, a skiing lesson at the Tamworth Snowdome.

In February 2022 'Alpine Alcott', combining study with skiing, took place in the French Alps resort of Serre Chevalier. Further programmes took place in Cambridge (Easter 2022) and North Norfolk (Summer 2022).
