Alpine Alcott

Skiing is a wonderful activity involving skill, agility, stamina and, of course, being outside in the fresh air around the most magical winter scenery. Many independent schools in the UK organise skiing trips as holidays, but Alcott Manor is going one step further, offering a week which combines skiing with four hours of age and level appropriate tuition, as well as cultural activities, each day, including where appropriate interview preparation lessons. Skiing lessons, in ability-based groups, will be organised through ESF.

The chosen base for Alpine Alcott is in the Serre Chevalier region of France, close to the historical town of Briancon, which is well known to Mr Osiatynski having previously led skiing trips to the area. There is also a most wonderful spa at Monetier-les-Bains to soak those tired muscles! Alcott Manor will have exclusive use of a private chalet.

If parents wish to travel of their own accord and stay in a local hotel we may be able to facilitate some family skiing time in lieu of afternoon lessons.
